You can simply toss the shoes into the washing machine and they come out clean and presentable again, no matter how far or how hard they have traveled. You cannot toss them into the dryer, however; they must be air-dried.
A quilted leather upper with a nylon-neoprene padded collar enables the shoes to stay looking newer longer.
